An 84-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, finished in brushed satin brass with natural buttonwood blades, for large covered patios and living rooms.
The Spitfire DC Custom combines powerful airflow with customizable lighting. Its 6-speed DC motor moves up to 10,688 CFM, while the integrated 18-watt LED light kit offers five color temperatures (2700K-5000K) to shift from warm to daylight. Control everything with the included TR360 remote or via Wi-Fi with the fanSync app. This downrod version includes 6-inch and 12-inch downrods for flexible installation.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where a downrod mount allows for higher ceilings
- Large living rooms and great rooms needing both air movement and ambient light
- Sunrooms and enclosed porches with humidity exposure
- Bedrooms and home offices where quiet, energy-efficient cooling and lighting are a priority
- Smart-home setups - control via Wi-Fi, voice assistant, or the fanSync app
Not ideal for
- Directly exposed outdoor areas - this fan is damp rated, not wet rated, so it should not be rained on
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft - the 84-inch sweep is oversized for compact spaces
- Ceilings lower than 8 ft - the downrod adds height, so a flush mount may be better
How bright is it?
The integrated LED light kit delivers 1600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb - suitable for ambient lighting in a large room.
Light color and feel
Choose from five color temperatures (2700K to 5000K), from warm, cozy light to bright daylight. The 90 CRI rating ensures colors appear vivid and accurate, ideal for living spaces and kitchens.
Sizing and fit
This downrod fan measures 84 inches in blade sweep and hangs 19.42 inches from the ceiling with the included 12-inch downrod. The 84-inch blade span is best suited for rooms at least 18x18 feet.
