A flush-mount 84-inch smart ceiling fan with a marine-grade LED light kit, designed for large covered outdoor and indoor living spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a Brushed Nickel motor with three Koa blades, delivering powerful airflow up to 10,688 CFM. This version includes a 24-watt LED light kit with CCT Select technology and a double-walled glass shade, built with marine-grade materials for enhanced durability. The included TR360 remote and Wi-Fi fanSync app provide full control over fan speed, light dimming, and color temperature. Damp rated for covered outdoor use, it's a robust choice for patios, porches, and great rooms with low ceilings.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction and marine-grade light kit withstand humidity
- Large living rooms and great rooms (over 18x20 ft) needing high airflow
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms with low ceilings, thanks to the flush mount
- Bedrooms and home offices wanting quiet, energy-efficient air movement
- Smart-home setups, with Wi-Fi control via the fanSync app or voice assistants
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft, where the 84-inch sweep may be overpowering
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you prefer a downrod mount - this flush version is best for low ceilings
How bright is it?
The integrated LED light kit produces 2000 lumens - comparable to a 150W incandescent bulb - providing ample ambient light for large spaces. It's bright enough to illuminate a covered patio or great room, though you may want task lighting for detailed work.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select technology, you can choose from 2700K (warm white), 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K (daylight). This lets you shift from a cozy, golden glow to crisp, bright daylight. The 90 CRI ensures colors appear vivid and accurate, and the light is fully dimmable via the remote or app.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 84 inches in diameter and hangs just 12 inches from the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with 8-foot ceilings. The flush mount keeps it close to the ceiling, and the 8.07-inch housing diameter fits standard junction boxes. For larger rooms, the 84-inch blade sweep moves substantial air.
