An 84-inch smart ceiling fan for large covered patios, porches, and great rooms, finished in dark bronze with Koa wood blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom is a statement piece that pairs a streamlined dark bronze motor housing with three Koa wood blades for a warm, natural contrast. Its 6-speed DC motor moves up to 10,688 CFM of air quietly, and the included TR360 remote plus Wi-Fi fanSync app control put fan speed, reversing, and optional lighting at your fingertips. Damp rated for covered outdoor and indoor use, it's built to handle humid environments without direct rain exposure.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where you need powerful airflow across a large seating area
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas with ceilings 8 ft or higher
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that get humid in summer
- Bedrooms and living spaces where quiet operation matters
- Smart-home setups - control via fanSync app, Alexa, or Google Assistant
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft - the included downrods add height; use the flush-mount version instead
- Directly exposed to rain or water - this is damp rated, not wet rated
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft - this 84-inch sweep is oversized for compact spaces
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, but it is compatible with an integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that delivers 2000 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in a large room.
Light color and feel
When paired with the optional light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures - 2700K (warm white) to 5000K (daylight) - to set the mood from cozy to crisp. The kit is dimmable and has a CRI of 90 for accurate color rendering.
Sizing and fit
This fan spans 84 inches blade-to-blade and hangs 19.69 inches from the ceiling with the included 6-inch downrod (or 13.69 inches with the 12-inch downrod). It's designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 20 degrees. Optional downrods up to 72 inches let you achieve the recommended 7-9 ft hanging height.
