A smart 84-inch indoor/outdoor ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire DC Custom collection, finished in brushed nickel with natural buttonwood blades and an integrated LED light kit.
This downrod-mounted Spitfire DC Custom pairs a sleek brushed nickel motor with three natural buttonwood blades for a warm, organic look that suits covered patios, porches, and large living spaces. The integrated LED light kit delivers bright, energy-efficient illumination with CCT Select technology, letting you shift from warm 2700K to crisp 5000K daylight. With Wi-Fi enabled fanSync, you can control the fan and light from your smartphone or voice assistant, while the included TR360 remote offers six speeds, reverse, and infinite dimming.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Large living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, providing powerful airflow up to 10,688 CFM
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need both air movement and adjustable lighting
- Bedrooms and home offices, where the quiet DC motor and dimmable light create a comfortable environment
- Laundry rooms and bathrooms with high ceilings, benefiting from the moisture-resistant design
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft unless you use the flush-mount option, as the downrod adds height
- Small spaces under 12x12 ft, where the 84-inch blade sweep may be overpowering
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb. This is bright enough to serve as the primary light source for a large living room or covered patio, and it's fully dimmable for softer ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select technology, you can choose from five color temperatures: 2700K (warm, cozy), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). The 90 CRI rating ensures colors appear vibrant and accurate, making it ideal for spaces where you want true-to-life illumination.
Sizing and fit
This fan has an 84-inch blade sweep and a low-profile housing. With the included 6-inch and 12-inch downrods, the ceiling-to-bottom height ranges from 15.35 to 21.35 inches with the light kit.
