A 72-inch flush-mount smart ceiling fan for covered outdoor and indoor spaces, finished in brushed nickel with black blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom combines a streamlined, low-profile design with powerful, quiet airflow. Its 6-speed DC motor moves up to 9,639 CFM, making it a strong choice for large rooms and covered patios. The brushed nickel motor housing pairs with three black buttonwood blades for a modern, understated look. Wi-Fi enabled fanSync technology lets you control the fan and optional light kit from your smart device or voice assistant, and the included TR360 remote puts all functions at your fingertips.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction stands up to humidity
- Sunrooms and large living areas with ceilings 8 ft or higher
- Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient airflow
- Rooms with low ceilings, thanks to the flush mount design
Not ideal for
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water, as this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 10x10 ft, where a 72-inch sweep may be overpowering
- Sloped ceilings, as this flush-mount model is designed for flat ceilings
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, but it is compatible with an optional integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that delivers 1600 lumens—comparable to a 100-watt incandescent bulb—enough to illuminate a medium-sized room.
Light color and feel
With the optional light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures—2700K (warm white) to 5000K (daylight)—to match your mood and decor. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vibrant and true.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 72 inches in diameter and hangs just 9.65 inches from the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with 8-foot ceilings. The flush mount keeps it close to the ceiling, and the included canopy fits standard electrical boxes.
