A 72-inch downrod smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces like great rooms, covered patios, and sunrooms.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a sleek Antique Graphite motor with three Weathered Wood Buttonwood blades, delivering powerful yet quiet airflow up to 9,639 CFM. The integrated 18-watt LED light kit features CCT Select technology, letting you shift from warm 2700K to bright 5000K. With Wi-Fi fanSync, you can control the fan and light from your smart device or voice assistant, and the included TR360 remote puts all controls at your fingertips.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades handle humidity without direct rain exposure
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas up to 20x20 ft, where the 72-inch sweep moves air effectively
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need year-round comfort and adjustable light color
- Rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings, using the included 6-inch or 12-inch downrods
- Smart-home setups, with Wi-Fi control via the fanSync app and voice assistants
Not ideal for
- Directly exposed outdoor areas without a roof or cover, as this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 10x10 ft, where the 72-inch blade sweep may feel overpowering
- Low ceilings under 8 ft, as the downrod adds height
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb. This is ample for ambient lighting in a large room, but it's not a task light for detailed work. Use it to create a comfortable, well-lit atmosphere.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select, you can choose from 2700K (warm white), 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K (daylight). Warm settings flatter wood and earth tones, while cooler settings energize a space. The 90 CRI ensures colors appear vivid and accurate. The light is dimmable via the remote or app.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 72 inches in diameter and hangs 19.42 inches from the ceiling with the included 12-inch downrod. It's ideal for ceilings 8 feet or higher. Optional downrods up to 72 inches allow for higher ceilings.
