A 54-inch downrod smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in matte black with white washed wood blades, designed for indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a sleek black motor housing with three white washed wood blades for a modern, airy look. Its 6-speed DC motor delivers powerful yet quiet airflow up to 7,307 CFM, while the included TR360 remote and Wi-Fi fanSync app give you full control from anywhere. This downrod version includes a 6-inch and 12-inch downrod for flexible installation on flat or slightly sloped ceilings. It is compatible with an optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) with CCT Select technology. Damp rated for covered outdoor use, it's built to handle humidity without direct rain exposure.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where a downrod fan provides better airflow
- Sunrooms, bathrooms, and laundry rooms with high humidity
- Bedrooms and living areas with ceilings 8 to 9 feet high
- Smart home setups with voice assistants or the fanSync app
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, as the downrod adds height
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water, as it is damp rated, not wet rated
How bright is it?
This fan is compatible with an optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that outputs 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb, providing ample ambient light for most rooms. Without the light kit, the fan provides no illumination.
Light color and feel
When paired with the optional light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures (2700K to 5000K) to shift from warm, cozy light to bright daylight. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vivid and accurate, ideal for living spaces.
