A 54-inch downrod smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire DC Custom collection, finished in brushed satin brass with black blades, for medium to large covered outdoor and indoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom combines a brushed satin brass motor housing with three black blades, delivering a sleek, modern look. Its efficient DC motor provides up to 7,307 CFM of airflow, making it suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, and covered patios. With Wi-Fi enabled fanSync technology, you can control the fan from your smartphone or voice assistant, and the included TR360 remote offers six speeds and reversing.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where its damp rating handles humidity and moisture
- Living rooms and bedrooms up to 18 x 20 feet, where its 54-inch sweep moves air effectively
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need year-round comfort
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms, where the damp-rated motor resists moisture
- Rooms with sloped ceilings up to 20 degrees, thanks to the included downrods
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the downrod adds height and the fan may hang too low
- Rooms where you prefer a flush mount, as this model uses downrods
- Directly exposed to rain or water, as it is damp rated, not wet rated
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional 18-watt LED light kit you add. That kit provides 1600 lumens, roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in a medium to large room.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures—2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral white), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight)—to match the mood of your space. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate, ideal for living areas and kitchens.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 54 inches in diameter and 19.69 inches from ceiling to bottom with the included 6-inch downrod. It is best for rooms 12 x 12 to 18 x 20 feet and ceilings of 8 feet or higher. Optional downrods up to 72 inches allow for optimal hanging height.
