A set of three 96-inch buttonwood ceiling fan blades in a black finish, designed for the Fanimation Spitfire DC fan and suitable for indoor or outdoor damp locations.
The Spitfire DC blade set brings a sculptural, three-blade silhouette to large spaces. Each blade is crafted from buttonwood and finished in black, offering a sleek, modern look that pairs well with contemporary and transitional interiors. This set is damp rated, so it can be used on covered porches, patios, and other damp environments.
Best for
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas with high ceilings, where a 96-inch blade sweep provides ample air movement
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms that require damp-rated components
- Replacing worn or mismatched blades on an existing Spitfire DC fan to refresh its look
- Modern and contemporary spaces that benefit from a minimalist, three-blade design
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 12 x 12 ft, where a 96-inch blade sweep may be visually overpowering
- Wet locations such as directly exposed outdoor areas without overhead cover, as this blade set is damp rated, not wet rated
Style and finish
The black finish on these buttonwood blades is deep and matte, offering a contemporary contrast against lighter ceilings and walls. The natural wood grain of buttonwood adds subtle texture, making each blade set unique. This finish works well with industrial, modern, and transitional decor.
