A 96-inch flush-mount smart ceiling fan for large covered outdoor spaces and great rooms, finished in black with black blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom is a statement piece for expansive areas, delivering powerful airflow up to 12,413 CFM from its quiet 6-speed DC motor. The black finish and black buttonwood blades create a sleek, modern look that complements contemporary and industrial interiors. This fan is damp rated for covered outdoor use, making it a versatile choice for patios, porches, and sunrooms.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, providing powerful airflow to keep large outdoor living areas comfortable
- Great rooms and open-plan living spaces with ceilings of 10 feet or higher
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms where humidity and moisture are a concern
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high ceilings, where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Smart home setups, with Wi-Fi control via the fanSync app and voice assistants
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the 96-inch blade sweep requires ample clearance
- Rooms where you need a light kit, as this version does not include one (light kit sold separately)
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water, as this fan is damp rated, not wet rated
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional integrated 18-watt LED light kit, which provides 1600 lumens—comparable to a 100-watt incandescent bulb. The light kit is sold separately.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures—2700K (warm white) to 5000K (daylight)—to suit your mood and activity. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vibrant and true.
Sizing and fit
With a 96-inch blade sweep and a height of just 9.65 inches, this flush-mount fan is ideal for rooms with low ceilings where a downrod isn't practical. The overall dimensions are 96 inches wide by 96 inches deep by 9.65 inches high, and it weighs 22.71 pounds.
