A 96-inch flush-mount smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in black with matte white blades, for large covered outdoor and indoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom is a statement piece for expansive rooms and covered patios. Its 96-inch blade sweep and three matte white buttonwood blades deliver powerful airflow while the black motor keeps a sleek, modern profile. The included TR360 remote and Wi-Fi fanSync app give you full control over six speeds, seasonal reversing, and optional lighting. Damp-rated for covered outdoor use, it's built to handle humidity without direct rain exposure.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches 20x20 ft or larger, where its 96-inch sweep moves air across the whole seating area
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms with high ceilings, mounted flush to keep headroom
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas with ceilings 10 ft or higher
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high ceilings, where damp-rated construction resists humidity
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft - the 96-inch blade sweep will overpower the space
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, as the flush mount still requires clearance for safety
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. It is compatible with an optional integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that provides 1600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb - suitable for ambient lighting in large rooms.
Light color and feel
With the optional light kit, you can select from five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). This flexibility lets you match the light to your activity and mood. The kit also features a CRI of 90, rendering colors accurately.
Sizing and fit
This flush-mount fan measures 96 inches in diameter and 9.65 inches from ceiling to bottom. It's designed for flat ceilings and is ideal for rooms with low ceilings where a downrod isn't practical. The included canopy is 7.85 inches in diameter.
