A 96-inch flush-mount smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire DC Custom collection, finished in Brushed Nickel with Dark Walnut blades and an integrated LED light kit, for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a sleek, low-profile motor housing with three sculpted Buttonwood blades in a rich Dark Walnut finish. Its 6-speed DC motor moves up to 12,413 CFM of air quietly and efficiently, while the included TR360 remote and Wi-Fi fanSync app put full control in your hand. This version includes an integrated 18-watt LED light kit with CCT Select technology, letting you shift from warm to daylight. Damp rated for covered patios and porches, this fan brings modern comfort and flexible lighting to expansive rooms.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas with ceilings 10 ft or higher, where the 96-inch sweep moves air across a wide footprint
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need year-round air circulation and adjustable lighting
- Low-ceiling rooms where a flush mount keeps headroom clear
- Smart-home setups, with Wi-Fi control via the fanSync app and voice assistants
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 12 x 12 ft, where a 96-inch fan would overwhelm the space
- Outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or water, despite the damp rating
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, where the fan's 11.33-inch height may feel too low
How bright is it?
The integrated 18-watt LED light kit delivers 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - enough to illuminate a large living area or covered patio. The light is dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select technology, you can choose from five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). This flexibility lets you match the light to the mood, from cozy evenings to bright task lighting. The kit also features a CRI of 90, ensuring colors appear vivid and accurate.
Sizing and fit
This flush-mount fan measures 96 inches in blade sweep and hangs just 11.33 inches from the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with low ceilings. The included ceiling bracket supports flat ceilings, and the 14-inch leadwire offers installation flexibility. For optimal airflow, install in rooms at least 12 x 12 ft with ceilings 8 ft or higher.
