A 72-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for large covered outdoor and indoor spaces, finished in antique graphite with natural blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom from Fanimation pairs a sleek antique graphite motor with three natural buttonwood blades for a modern, organic look. Its 6-speed DC motor delivers powerful airflow up to 9,639 CFM while staying quiet and energy-efficient. The integrated 18-watt LED light kit features CCT Select technology, letting you choose from five color temperatures—2700K to 5000K—to match your mood. With Wi-Fi fanSync, you can control the fan and light from your smartphone or voice assistant, and the included handheld remote puts all functions at your fingertips.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, rated for damp locations
- Large living rooms and great rooms with high ceilings
- Sunrooms and enclosed porches needing year-round comfort
- Bedrooms and home offices where quiet, efficient airflow is key
- Smart home setups with voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant
Not ideal for
- Directly exposed outdoor areas—this fan is damp rated, not wet rated, so it should not be exposed to rain or water spray
- Rooms with ceilings lower than 8 feet when using the included downrods—consider the flush-mount version for low ceilings
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 2000 lumens—comparable to a 100-watt incandescent bulb—making it bright enough to serve as the primary light in a medium to large room. With dimming capability, you can adjust it down for a softer ambiance.
Light color and feel
Choose from 2700K (warm white) to 5000K (daylight) to create the perfect atmosphere. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and true, ideal for living spaces and kitchens. The light is dimmable, and the included remote allows infinite dimming.
Sizing and fit
This fan has a 72-inch blade sweep, making it best for rooms larger than 15 x 15 feet. It includes 6-inch and 12-inch downrods, with optional downrods up to 72 inches for higher ceilings. The overall height with the light kit is 16 inches (with 6-inch downrod) or 22 inches (with 12-inch downrod).
