A 72-inch downrod smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom combines a sleek black motor with whiskey wood blades, delivering powerful airflow up to 9,639 CFM from its quiet 6-speed DC motor. The integrated 24-watt LED light kit features a double-walled marine-grade glass shade and offers five color temperatures from warm to daylight. The included remote and Wi-Fi connectivity make it easy to control from anywhere. Damp rated for covered outdoor use, this fan brings modern style and smart convenience to patios, porches, and great rooms.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas with ceilings at least 8 ft high
- Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient airflow
- Rooms with sloped ceilings up to 20 degrees
- Smart home setups with voice assistant or app control
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp rated, not wet rated
- Small rooms under 12 x 12 ft, where a 72-inch sweep may be overpowering
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you need a flush mount
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 2000 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 150W incandescent bulb. This is sufficient for ambient lighting in a large room, but you may want additional task lighting for reading or detailed work.
Light color and feel
Choose from five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and accurate. The light is dimmable via the included remote, allowing you to set the perfect mood.
Sizing and fit
This fan has a 72-inch blade sweep and comes with 6-inch and 12-inch downrods, with a height of 22 inches from ceiling to bottom when using the 12-inch downrod. Ideal for rooms at least 15 x 15 ft. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
