A 72-inch downrod smart ceiling fan for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces, with a sleek Antique Graphite finish and Black blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom delivers powerful, quiet airflow up to 9,639 CFM from its 6-speed DC motor. This version is designed for those who want to add a compatible LED light kit separately, offering flexibility. Control the fan with the included handheld remote or via Wi-Fi with fanSync, and enjoy the convenience of smart-home integration.

- Large living rooms and great rooms over 20x20 ft, providing strong air circulation
- Covered patios and porches, with damp-rated construction for humid environments
- Bedrooms and sunrooms needing quiet, energy-efficient cooling
- Rooms with standard or slightly sloped ceilings, using the included 6-inch and 12-inch downrods
- Smart-home setups, with Wi-Fi control via fanSync app and voice assistants
Not ideal for
- Uncovered outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or water
- Low ceilings under 8 ft, as the downrod adds height
- Those who need a light kit included, as it is sold separately
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the compatible LED kit you add. The compatible 18W LED kit provides 1600 lumens, similar to a 100W incandescent bulb.
Light color and feel
If you add the compatible light kit, you can choose from 2700K to 5000K color temperatures, with a CRI of 90 for accurate color rendering. The light is dimmable via the remote.
Sizing and fit
With a 72-inch blade sweep and a height of 19.69 inches (using the 12-inch downrod), this fan is best for rooms with ceilings at least 9 ft. The included downrods (6 and 12 inches) allow for flexible installation, and optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
