A 72-inch smart ceiling fan with integrated LED light kit from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in dark bronze with Koa wood blades, for large covered outdoor and indoor spaces.
This downrod-mounted Spitfire DC Custom pairs a streamlined dark bronze motor with three Koa wood blades, delivering powerful yet quiet airflow up to 9,639 CFM from its 6-speed DC motor. It includes an integrated 18-watt LED light kit with CCT Select technology, offering five selectable color temperatures from warm white to daylight. The included TR360 handheld remote and Wi-Fi enabled fanSync technology provide convenient control, while Fanimation's KwikWire technology simplifies installation.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are needed
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas with ceilings 8 feet or higher
- Bedrooms and home offices that benefit from quiet, energy-efficient airflow and integrated lighting
- Spaces up to 20 x 20 feet where high air movement is desired
- Smart home setups with voice assistants or the fanSync app
Not ideal for
- Directly exposed outdoor areas - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated, so it should not be exposed to rain or water spray
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 feet - the downrod adds height, and a flush-mount option may be better
- Small rooms under 10 x 10 feet - the 72-inch blade sweep may be overpowering
How bright is it?
The integrated LED light kit delivers 2000 lumens - about as bright as a 150W incandescent bulb, ideal for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select technology, you can choose from five color temperatures - 2700K (warm white) to 5000K (daylight) - to match the mood of your space. The light is dimmable and has a CRI of 90, rendering colors accurately.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 72 inches in blade sweep and 22 inches from ceiling to bottom with the included 6-inch downrod (or 16 inches with the 12-inch downrod). It's designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 20 degrees) and includes both downrods. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7-9 foot hanging height.
