A 60-inch flush-mount ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in matte white with three whiskey wood blades, designed for low-ceiling rooms and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire Flush Mount brings the same sleek, modern design as the standard Spitfire but mounts directly to the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with 8-foot ceilings or lower. Its damp-rated construction allows it to handle humidity in covered patios, sunrooms, and bathrooms, while the reversible motor ensures efficient airflow year-round. With a 21° blade pitch and a powerful AC motor, this fan delivers up to 4,006 CFM on high, providing strong air movement for medium to large spaces.
Best for
- Rooms with low ceilings (8 ft or less) where a flush mount is necessary
- Covered porches and patios, protected from direct rain
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms with high humidity
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms that need moisture-resistant airflow
- Bedrooms and home offices where a space-saving fan is preferred
Not ideal for
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water, as this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Large open-concept spaces over 400 sq ft, where a higher-CFM fan may be needed
- Rooms with sloped ceilings, as the flush mount is designed for flat ceilings only
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional LED light kit (sold separately). When added, the 18-watt integrated LED module delivers 1500 lumens—comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb—suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional light kit, it offers 3000K warm white light with a CRI of 90, rendering colors accurately and creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The light is dimmable, allowing you to adjust brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 60 inches in blade sweep and 60 x 60 x 9.5 inches overall. It mounts flush to the ceiling, hanging just 9.5 inches from the ceiling, making it perfect for low ceilings. The canopy is 7.85 inches in diameter, and the housing is 8.07 inches.
