A 60-inch flush-mount ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in dark bronze with natural buttonwood blades, designed for low ceilings and damp-rated for covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire Flush mounts directly to the ceiling, making it an excellent choice for rooms with 8-foot ceilings or lower. Its three natural buttonwood blades and dark bronze motor housing create a sleek, contemporary look that works in coastal, transitional, and modern homes. The reversible AC motor delivers up to 4,006 CFM of airflow, and the included TR500 remote provides convenient control. Damp-rated construction ensures reliable performance in humid environments like covered patios and bathrooms.
Best for
- Rooms with low ceilings (8 ft or less) where a downrod mount would hang too low
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms needing damp-rated durability
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, as long as the fan is not directly exposed to rain or water
- Living rooms and bedrooms up to 18x20 ft needing efficient air circulation
- Homes with smart assistants - compatible with Fanimation Wi-Fi fanSync and most smart home devices (controls sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Very large rooms over 20x20 ft where a 60-inch downrod mount might provide better airflow distribution
- Rooms with sloped ceilings - the flush mount is designed for flat ceilings only
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately), which produces 1,500 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in a large room.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it emits 3000K warm white light - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it a good choice for living spaces and kitchens. The light is dimmable via the included remote.
Sizing and fit
With a 60-inch blade sweep and 9.5-inch overall height, this flush-mount fan fits rooms at least 15x15 ft and is ideal for ceilings 8 ft or lower. It mounts directly to a flat ceiling using the included bracket, with no downrod required.
