A 60-inch flush-mount ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in black with matte white blades, ideal for low ceilings and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire flush mount offers the same sleek three-blade design as the standard model but mounts directly to the ceiling, saving valuable headroom. Its black motor housing and matte white blades create a modern, clean aesthetic that suits a variety of decor styles. Rated for damp locations, it's built to handle humidity, making it perfect for covered patios, sunrooms, and bathrooms.
Best for
- Rooms with low ceilings (under 8 feet) where a downrod would be impractical
- Covered patios and porches, providing a cool breeze without taking up space
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms, where humidity and moisture are a concern
- Basements and finished attics with limited ceiling height
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms, where damp-rated fixtures are recommended
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Large rooms over 400 sq ft, where a 60-inch sweep may not provide sufficient airflow
- Spaces with sloped ceilings, as this flush mount is designed for flat ceilings only
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional LED light kit (sold separately). When added, the 18-watt integrated LED module delivers 1500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb - providing ample ambient light for most rooms.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it emits a warm 3000K white light - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it suitable for spaces where true color matters, such as kitchens or art displays. The light is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the ambiance to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
The Spitfire flush mount has a 60-inch blade sweep and an overall height of just 9.5 inches (from ceiling to bottom without a light kit). It mounts directly to a flat ceiling using the included bracket, making it an excellent choice for rooms with low ceilings. The canopy is 7.85 inches in diameter, and the fan weighs 22.04 lbs.
