A 60-inch three-blade ceiling fan motor from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in driftwood, for covered patios, bedrooms, and living spaces that need powerful, efficient airflow.
The Spitfire is a statement of modern simplicity, with a sculpted three-blade design that stands out from typical fan silhouettes. This listing is for the motor only, letting you choose from Fanimation's range of Spitfire blades and optional LED light kits to create your ideal configuration. The driftwood finish brings a natural, coastal-inspired warmth that pairs well with rustic, farmhouse, and beach-house interiors, and the damp-rated construction means it can handle the humidity of a covered outdoor area.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Bedrooms and living rooms with 8-foot or higher ceilings, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
- Large rooms up to 400 square feet, thanks to the 6641 CFM high-speed airflow
- Energy-conscious homes, with an average airflow efficiency of 108 CFM per watt on high
- Smart-home setups, with WiFi or Bluetooth compatibility (controls sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Indoor rooms with low ceilings under 7 feet, as the fan hangs 12 inches from the ceiling
- Spaces where you need a light kit included, as this motor-only model requires a separate purchase
- Homes outside the United States, as this fan is designed for 110-volt wiring only
How bright is it?
This is a ceiling fan motor only and does not include a light kit. If you add Fanimation's optional LED light kit, it will provide bright, energy-efficient illumination, but the exact lumen output depends on the kit you choose.
Light color and feel
Light color and feel will depend on the optional LED light kit you select. Fanimation's LED kits typically offer warm, inviting light, but please check the specific kit for color temperature and dimming capabilities.
