A 60-inch damp-rated ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in black with white washed buttonwood blades, built for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a black motor housing and white washed buttonwood blades, giving it a modern, sculptural look that suits coastal, transitional, and contemporary interiors. Its AC motor delivers strong airflow (up to 5,227 CFM) while staying energy-efficient, and the included TR500 remote puts speed, light, and timer controls at your fingertips. Designed for damp locations, it handles humidity from covered patios to sunrooms without worry.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction resists humidity and moisture
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need reliable airflow in humid conditions
- Large living rooms and great rooms (up to 20x20 ft) with ceilings 8 ft or higher
- Bedrooms and home offices where the included remote makes speed and light control easy from bed or desk
- Year-round comfort with a reversible motor that helps circulate warm air in winter
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water—this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft unless you use the flush-mount option (sold separately)
- Small spaces under 10x10 ft where a 60-inch sweep may feel oversized
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately). That kit delivers 1,500 lumens—about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb—ideal for ambient lighting in a living room or bedroom, not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it emits 3000K warm white light—a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, flattering skin tones and warm wood finishes. The light is dimmable via the included remote.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 60 inches wide, 60 inches deep, and 12 inches from ceiling to bottom (without a light kit). It comes with a 4.5-inch downrod and fits flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 19°). Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7–9 ft hanging height.
