A 60-inch damp-rated ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms, finished in black with natural buttonwood blades.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a matte black motor housing and natural buttonwood blades, giving it a modern, organic look that suits coastal and contemporary homes. Its powerful AC motor moves up to 5,227 CFM, and the reversible airflow keeps you cool in summer and redistributes warm air in winter. The included TR500 remote puts three speeds, a timer, and light control (if you add the optional LED kit) at your fingertips.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp rating protects against humidity and moisture
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms with high ceilings
- Large living rooms or great rooms (15x20 ft or larger) needing strong airflow
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity (damp-rated, not for direct rain)
- Homes with sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or water - this is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need a long downrod for optimal height
- Small spaces under 10x10 ft where a 60-inch sweep may feel overpowering
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. If you add the optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately), it delivers 1,500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb, bright enough for ambient lighting in a medium room.
Light color and feel
With the optional LED kit, the light is 3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. It flatters skin tones and warm wood finishes, and with a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately. The light is dimmable via the included remote or compatible smart controls.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 60 inches in blade sweep and hangs 12 inches from the ceiling with the included 4.5-inch downrod. It fits flat or sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees. For higher ceilings, optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7-9 ft hanging height. The canopy is 7.09 inches in diameter.
