A 48-inch flush-mount ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in matte white with three koa wood blades, ideal for rooms with low ceilings and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire Flush Mount delivers the same sleek three-blade design as the standard Spitfire but mounts directly to the ceiling, saving valuable headroom in rooms with 8-foot or lower ceilings. The matte white housing and warm koa wood blades create a modern, organic aesthetic that fits coastal, transitional, and contemporary decor. With a powerful AC motor delivering up to 4,995 CFM, it keeps covered patios, sunrooms, and living areas comfortable. The included TR500 remote offers convenient control, and the reversible motor ensures year-round comfort.
Best for
- Rooms with low ceilings (under 8 ft) where a flush mount is necessary to maintain clearance
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades handle humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing reliable air movement in humid conditions
- Bedrooms and home offices where a quiet, energy-efficient fan with remote control is desired
- Homes with smart assistants, since the fan is compatible with Fanimation fanSync and most smart home systems (control sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas with direct rain or water spray - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with sloped ceilings, as the flush mount is designed for flat ceilings only
- Small spaces under 10x10 ft where a 48-inch sweep may feel oversized
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. It is compatible with an optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that outputs 1500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb - suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.
Light color and feel
When paired with the optional LED light kit, the 3000K warm white light creates a soft, golden glow similar to traditional incandescent bulbs, flattering skin tones and warm wood finishes. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and accurate, ideal for living spaces and kitchens.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 48 inches in diameter and hangs just 9.5 inches from the ceiling, making it perfect for low ceilings. It mounts flush to a flat ceiling using the included bracket. The compact profile ensures it doesn't overwhelm smaller rooms while still providing ample airflow.
