A 48-inch damp-rated flush mount ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in antique graphite with three black buttonwood blades, ideal for low ceilings and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire Flush Mount delivers the same sleek three-blade design as the standard Spitfire but mounts directly to the ceiling, making it perfect for rooms with lower ceilings. Its antique graphite finish and black buttonwood blades create a modern, streamlined look. The reversible AC motor provides airflow up to 4,995 CFM, and the included TR500 remote offers convenient control. Damp-rated, it handles humidity and moisture, making it a versatile choice for patios, sunrooms, and bathrooms.
Best for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, where a flush mount maximizes headroom
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing year-round air movement
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high moisture levels
- Smart home setups, as it's compatible with Fanimation fanSync and most smart devices (control sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Uncovered outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water
- Rooms with sloped ceilings, as this flush mount is designed for flat ceilings only
- Very large rooms over 20 x 20 ft, where a larger fan or additional airflow may be needed
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on your room's existing lighting. It's compatible with an optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that delivers 1,500 lumens—comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb—suitable for ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it emits 3000K warm white light—a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it a good choice for living spaces and kitchens. The light is dimmable via the included remote.
Sizing and fit
With a 48-inch blade sweep and 9.5-inch overall height, this flush mount fan suits medium to large rooms with low ceilings. It mounts directly to a flat ceiling using the included bracket, ensuring a clean, low-profile look.
