A 48-inch flush-mount ceiling fan without a light kit, ideal for low ceilings and damp-rated for covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire Flush from Fanimation delivers the same modern three-blade design as the standard Spitfire but mounts flush to the ceiling, making it perfect for rooms with limited clearance. The matte black motor housing and weathered wood buttonwood blades suit rustic and contemporary interiors, while the reversible AC motor offers airflow up to 4,995 CFM. The fan is compatible with an optional LED light kit (sold separately).
Best for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, where a flush mount avoids the need for a downrod
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to the damp rating
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need airflow without a built-in light
- Bedrooms, living rooms, or home offices with standard 8-9 ft ceilings
- Smart home setups, as it works with Fanimation fanSync and most smart home devices (control sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water, as it is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms that need a light source, as the light kit is not included
- Large rooms over 15x15 ft, where the 48-inch sweep may be insufficient for primary cooling
- Sloped ceilings, as the flush mount is designed for flat ceilings only
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional LED light kit, which is sold separately. The compatible kit offers 1,500 lumens at 3000K.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it provides warm 3000K light with a CRI of 90, flattering skin tones and wood finishes. The light is dimmable via the included TR500 remote.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 48 inches wide, 48 inches deep, and 9.5 inches high. It mounts flush to the ceiling, with a canopy of 7.85 inches in diameter and 5.02 inches high. The lead wire is 80 inches long.
