A 48-inch flush-mount ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in brushed satin brass with matte white blades, designed for low ceilings and damp-rated for covered outdoor and humid spaces.
The Spitfire Flush Mount delivers the same sleek three-blade design as the standard Spitfire but mounts directly to the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with 8-foot ceilings or lower. The brushed satin brass motor housing and matte white buttonwood blades create a clean, contemporary aesthetic that complements modern and transitional decor. With a damp rating, it performs reliably in covered patios, sunrooms, and bathrooms, while the reversible AC motor ensures year-round comfort. The included TR500 remote provides convenient control of fan speeds and optional light settings.
Best for
- Rooms with low ceilings (8 ft or less) where a downrod-mounted fan would hang too low
- Covered patios and porches protected from direct rain and water
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms with standard ceiling heights
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with sufficient ceiling clearance
- Living rooms and bedrooms seeking a streamlined, space-saving fan design
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or water spray - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with sloped ceilings - this flush mount is designed for flat ceilings only
- Very large rooms over 400 sq ft where a larger blade sweep may be needed
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional LED light kit (sold separately). The compatible 18-watt LED module delivers 1500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - providing ample ambient light for most rooms.
Light color and feel
When paired with the optional LED light kit, the 3000K warm white light creates a soft, golden glow similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and natural, making it suitable for living areas and kitchens. The light is dimmable for adjustable ambiance.
Sizing and fit
With a 48-inch blade sweep and an overall height of just 9.5 inches (from ceiling to bottom without a light kit), this fan is perfect for rooms with 8-foot ceilings. The flush mount canopy is 7.85 inches in diameter and 5.02 inches high, and the housing is 8.07 inches wide. It is designed for flat ceilings only.
