A 48-inch flush-mount ceiling fan without a light kit, ideal for low ceilings and damp locations like covered patios and sunrooms.
The Spitfire flush mount brings the same sleek three-blade design and whiskey wood blades as the standard model, but mounts directly to the ceiling for a streamlined look. The reversible motor ensures year-round comfort, and the fan is compatible with an optional LED light kit (sold separately) for added functionality. Perfect for rooms with limited vertical space.
Best for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, where a flush mount maximizes clearance
- Covered patios and porches, with damp-rated construction for humidity
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing airflow without light
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with low ceilings, where moisture resistance is a plus
- Modern living spaces seeking a clean, low-profile fan without integrated lighting
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Large rooms over 15 x 15 ft, where the 48-inch blade sweep may be insufficient for high airflow needs
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - this flush mount is designed for flat ceilings only
- Spaces that require a light source - this model does not include a light kit
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional LED light kit (sold separately). The compatible kit produces 1500 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it offers 3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent lighting. With a CRI of 90, colors appear natural and vibrant. The light is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the mood.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 48 inches in blade sweep and 9.5 inches from ceiling to bottom. It fits rooms at least 12 x 12 ft, with a recommended ceiling height of 7.5 ft or more. The flush mount design keeps it close to the ceiling, ideal for low ceilings.
