A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The Spitfire from Fanimation features a sleek three-blade design with a black motor housing and dark walnut buttonwood blades. This version is light-kit compatible, so you can add an optional LED kit later. With a reversible AC motor and smart home compatibility, it delivers comfort and convenience year-round.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need airflow without added light
- Large living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, with ceiling heights of 8 ft or more
- Bedrooms and home offices where a quiet, energy-efficient fan is useful
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high moisture levels, thanks to the damp rating
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water—this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms needing a light source—this model does not include a light kit, but one can be added separately
- Spaces with very low ceilings if you prefer a flush mount; this model uses a 4.5-inch downrod
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. If you add the optional LED kit, it provides 1500 lumens.
