A 48-inch damp-rated flush-mount ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, ideal for low ceilings and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire Flush combines a sleek three-blade design with warm Koa wood blades and a matte black motor housing. The included LED light kit offers both fresnel and frosted shades for versatile lighting. Its close-to-ceiling mount keeps the profile low, making it perfect for rooms with limited clearance while still delivering powerful airflow.
Best for
- Rooms with low ceilings (under 8 ft) where a downrod fan would hang too low
- Covered patios and porches, with a damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing year-round comfort and light
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, where the damp rating ensures reliable performance
- Open-plan living areas up to 400 sq ft, providing strong airflow at up to 4,995 CFM
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water spray - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings higher than 9 ft, as the flush mount may not provide optimal airflow distribution
- Spaces where you want a completely silent fan - the AC motor is audible at higher speeds
How bright is it?
The integrated 18-watt LED module produces 1,500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb. This is bright enough to serve as the primary light in a medium-sized room, but it's best paired with additional lighting for task areas like kitchen counters or reading nooks.
Light color and feel
The LED emits a warm 3000K white light, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and true, making it suitable for living spaces where you want accurate color rendering. The light is dimmable, and the included remote allows you to adjust brightness to your preferred level.
Sizing and fit
This fan has a 48-inch blade sweep and an overall height of 11.21 inches when mounted flush to the ceiling. It's designed for flat ceilings only. The canopy is 7.85 inches in diameter, and the fan weighs 23.02 lbs. The close-to-ceiling design makes it a great choice for rooms with low ceilings.

Frequently asked
Is the bulb included? Yes, the integrated LED module is included and cannot be replaced separately.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, the light is dimmable. Use the included TR500 remote to adjust brightness; it is not compatible with wall dimmers.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? Yes, it is damp-rated, making it suitable for bathrooms and covered outdoor areas, but not for direct rain exposure.
What's the warranty? Limited Lifetime Warranty for the original purchaser, covering the motor. Contact Fanimation Tech Support at 1-888-567-2055 for assistance.
How does the flush mount affect airflow compared to a downrod? The flush mount reduces the distance between the blades and the ceiling, which can slightly reduce airflow efficiency in rooms with high ceilings, but it's ideal for low ceilings where clearance is limited.
