A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan with integrated LED light kit from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in antique graphite with three black buttonwood blades, for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The Spitfire with LED Light Kit combines a sleek three-blade design with a built-in 18-watt dimmable LED module, offering both airflow and illumination in one fixture. The antique graphite finish and black buttonwood blades create a modern, architectural look, while the included fresnel and frosted shades let you customize the light's appearance. Its reversible AC motor delivers airflow up to 5,176 CFM, and the TR500 remote controls both fan and light. Damp-rated, it's ideal for patios, sunrooms, and bathrooms.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing year-round air movement and ambient light
- Large bedrooms, living rooms, and family rooms up to 18 x 20 ft, with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high moisture levels
- Smart home setups, as it's compatible with Fanimation fanSync and most smart devices (control sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Uncovered outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water
- Rooms with ceilings steeper than 19° slope without an angled-mount adapter
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you prefer a flush mount (consider the flush-mount version)
How bright is it?
The integrated 18-watt LED module delivers 1,500 lumens—comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb—suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms. It's dimmable via the included remote.
Light color and feel
The LED emits 3000K warm white light—a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it a good choice for living spaces and kitchens. The included fresnel and frosted shades let you choose between a more focused or diffused light.
Sizing and fit
With a 48-inch blade sweep and 13.71-inch overall height (with light kit), this fan suits medium to large rooms. It comes with a 4.5-inch downrod; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the optimal 7-9 ft hanging height. Designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 19°).
