A 48-inch indoor/outdoor ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in dark bronze with light oak blades, for covered patios, sunrooms, and large living spaces.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a warm dark bronze motor housing and light oak buttonwood blades, giving it a modern yet organic look that suits coastal and contemporary homes. The included 18-watt dimmable LED light kit provides warm, accurate illumination, while the damp-rated construction handles humidity in covered outdoor areas. The reversible AC motor delivers powerful airflow year-round, and the TR500 handheld remote puts three speeds, light dimming, and a timer at your fingertips.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades perform reliably
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need both airflow and ambient light
- Large living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, mounted on flat or sloped ceilings up to 19°
- Bedrooms and home offices, using the remote to adjust speed, dim the light, and set a timer
- Homes with 8-9 ft ceilings, using the included 4.5-inch downrod or optional longer downrods
Not ideal for
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water spray - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft, unless you use the optional close-to-ceiling mount
- Small spaces under 100 sq ft where a 48-inch sweep may feel overpowering
How bright is it?
The integrated LED light kit outputs 1500 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in a medium to large room. It is dimmable via the included TR500 remote.
Light color and feel
The LED light delivers 3000K warm white light with a CRI of 90, rendering colors accurately and flattering warm wood and bronze finishes. The light is dimmable, allowing you to adjust from bright task lighting to a soft glow.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 48 inches wide by 48 inches deep and hangs 13.71 inches from the ceiling with the light kit. It includes a 4.5-inch downrod, with optional downrods up to 72 inches available to achieve a 7-9 ft hanging height. The canopy is 7.09 inches in diameter, and the motor housing is 8.07 inches. It weighs 21.26 lbs and fits flat or sloped ceilings up to 19°.
