A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan with integrated LED light kit from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, featuring a black finish with black buttonwood blades and a brushed satin brass light kit, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The Spitfire combines a sleek three-blade design with the elegance of a brushed satin brass light kit, adding a touch of warmth to the black finish. The integrated 18-watt dimmable LED light kit provides 1500 lumens of warm white light. The 3-speed AC motor delivers up to 5,176 CFM, and the reversible motor ensures year-round comfort.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need both airflow and illumination
- Large living rooms and open-plan areas up to 400 sq ft, mounted with the included 4.5-inch downrod
- Bedrooms and home offices where a 3-speed motor and handheld remote offer convenient control
- Homes with sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees, using the included downrod or optional longer downrods
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a hanging height below 9 feet - use the flush mount option instead
- Spaces that require very bright task lighting - the 1500-lumen light kit is best for ambient illumination
How bright is it?
The integrated LED light kit produces 1500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb. This is suitable for ambient lighting in medium-sized rooms, but not as a primary task light.
Light color and feel
The LED module emits 3000K warm white light - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it suitable for living spaces and kitchens. The light is dimmable via the included remote.
Sizing and fit
With a 48-inch blade sweep and overall dimensions of 48 x 48 x 13.71 inches, this fan suits medium to large rooms. The included 4.5-inch downrod places the fan 13.71 inches from the ceiling; optional downrods up to 72 inches allow for optimal 7-9 ft hanging height. It fits flat or sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees.
