A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in matte white with light oak blades, for covered patios, sunrooms, and large indoor living spaces.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a matte white motor housing and light oak buttonwood blades, giving it a clean, contemporary look that suits both indoor and covered outdoor settings. Its reversible AC motor delivers powerful airflow up to 5,176 CFM, and the included TR500 remote puts three speeds and a timer at your fingertips. Designed for damp locations, it stands up to humidity in covered patios, porches, sunrooms, bathrooms, and laundry rooms.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where humidity and moisture are a concern
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing reliable air movement
- Large bedrooms and living areas up to 15x15 ft
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with damp-rated requirements
- Homes with flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 19° slope)
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft unless using a flush mount kit (sold separately)
- Spaces needing a light fixture - this model is fan-only; an LED light kit is sold separately
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional 18-watt LED module (sold separately) which outputs 1500 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in a medium room.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it delivers 3000K warm white light with a CRI of 90, rendering colors accurately and flattering warm interiors. The light is dimmable via the included remote.
Sizing and fit
With a 48-inch blade sweep and a 12-inch drop from ceiling to bottom, this fan fits rooms at least 12x12 ft. The included 4.5-inch downrod works for standard 8-9 ft ceilings; optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
