A 48-inch indoor/outdoor ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in dark bronze with light oak blades, for covered patios, sunrooms, and large living spaces.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a warm dark bronze motor housing and light oak buttonwood blades, giving it a modern yet organic look that suits coastal and contemporary homes. Its damp-rated construction means it can handle humidity and moisture in covered outdoor areas, while the reversible AC motor delivers powerful airflow year-round. The included TR500 handheld remote puts three speeds, a timer, and reverse function at your fingertips.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades perform reliably
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need strong airflow without direct rain exposure
- Large living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, mounted on flat or sloped ceilings up to 19°
- Bedrooms and home offices, using the remote to adjust speed and set a timer
- Homes with 8-9 ft ceilings, using the included 4.5-inch downrod or optional longer downrods
Not ideal for
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water spray - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft, unless you use the optional close-to-ceiling mount
- Small spaces under 100 sq ft where a 48-inch sweep may feel overpowering
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. It is compatible with an optional 18-watt dimmable LED light kit (sold separately) that outputs 1500 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in a medium room.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it delivers 3000K warm white light with a CRI of 90, rendering colors accurately and flattering warm wood and bronze finishes. The light is dimmable via the included TR500 remote or compatible smart controls.
