A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in brushed satin brass with black buttonwood blades, for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a warm brushed satin brass motor housing and black buttonwood blades, giving it a modern, airy look that suits coastal and contemporary interiors. Its reversible AC motor delivers strong airflow up to 5,176 CFM, and the included TR500 remote puts three speeds and a timer at your fingertips. Damp-rated, it thrives in covered patios, sunrooms, and other humid environments.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction resists humidity
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing year-round air movement
- Large bedrooms and living areas up to 400 sq ft, mounted on flat or sloped ceilings
- Homes with smart assistants, thanks to optional Wi-Fi fanSync compatibility
- Year-round comfort with reversible airflow for summer cooling and winter air circulation
Not ideal for
- Directly exposed outdoor areas without a roof or cover - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need a long downrod, though a 4.5-inch downrod is included
- Those seeking a light kit - this model does not include one (sold separately)
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. If you add the optional 18-watt LED light kit, it delivers 1,500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
Not applicable without the light kit. The optional LED kit offers 3000K warm white light with a CRI of 90, rendering colors accurately and flattering warm interiors.
Sizing and fit
With a 48-inch blade sweep and 12-inch overall height (from ceiling to bottom without a light kit), this fan suits medium to large rooms. It includes a 4.5-inch downrod and supports sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
