A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in brushed nickel with dark walnut blades - built for covered patios, porches, and sunrooms.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a brushed nickel motor housing and dark walnut buttonwood blades, giving it a modern yet warm look that suits both indoor and covered outdoor spaces. Its reversible AC motor delivers up to 5,176 CFM of airflow, and the included TR500 handheld remote puts three speeds, a timer, and light control at your fingertips. Designed for damp locations, it handles humidity from coastal air or steamy bathrooms without worry, as long as it stays out of direct rain.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where a damp-rated fan is needed to withstand humidity
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that get warm in summer and need year-round air movement
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high moisture levels - the damp rating protects the motor and blades
- Bedrooms and living areas with 8-9 ft ceilings, using the included 4.5-inch downrod
- Smart-home setups - compatible with Fanimation fanSync and most smart devices (control sold separately)
Not ideal for
- Uncovered outdoor areas exposed to direct rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need a low-profile mount - this model uses a downrod
- Spaces where you want a light kit included - the light kit is sold separately for this version
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional 18-watt LED module (sold separately). When added, it delivers 1500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - enough to illuminate a small to medium room as ambient light.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it emits 3000K warm white light - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, it renders colors accurately, making it suitable for kitchens or living spaces where you want true-to-life tones. The light is dimmable, and the included TR500 remote controls light levels infinitely.
Sizing and fit
With a 48-inch blade sweep and 21° blade pitch, this fan suits rooms up to about 200 square feet. The overall dimensions are 48"(L) x 48"(W) x 12"(H), and it hangs 12 inches from the ceiling with the included 4.5-inch downrod. For higher ceilings, optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended 7-9 ft hanging height.
