A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms, finished in black with black buttonwood blades.
The Spitfire brings a sleek, modern three-blade aesthetic to spaces that need reliable airflow and a bold look. Its black finish and black buttonwood blades create a cohesive, contemporary silhouette that suits patios, sunrooms, and open-plan interiors. With a powerful AC motor delivering up to 5,176 CFM, it keeps large areas comfortable, while the reversible motor provides year-round efficiency.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need consistent airflow in humid conditions
- Large living rooms and open-plan areas up to 400 sq ft, mounted with the included 4.5-inch downrod
- Bedrooms and home offices where a 3-speed motor and handheld remote offer convenient control
- Homes with sloped ceilings up to 19 degrees, using the included downrod or optional longer downrods
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you need a hanging height below 9 feet - use the flush mount option instead
- Spaces that require a light source - this model does not include a light kit (sold separately)
How bright is it?
This model does not include a light kit, so lumen output is not applicable. If you need illumination, consider the version with an integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately).
Light color and feel
Not applicable - this fan is sold without a light kit. For lighting, choose the model with the integrated LED module, which offers 3000K warm white light.
