A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in antique graphite with light oak buttonwood blades, for covered patios, sunrooms, and large indoor living spaces.
The Spitfire pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a sophisticated antique graphite motor housing and light oak buttonwood blades. Its reversible AC motor delivers up to 5,176 CFM of airflow, and the included TR500 handheld remote puts three speeds and a timer at your fingertips. Damp-rated for covered outdoor areas, it brings modern style and reliable comfort to any room.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas up to 18 x 20 ft, mounted on flat or sloped ceilings up to 19°
- Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient air movement with reversible airflow for year-round comfort
- Indoor spaces with 8-9 ft ceilings when installed with the included 4.5-inch downrod
Not ideal for
- Areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 ft unless using a close-to-ceiling mount (sold separately)
- Small spaces under 8 x 10 ft where a 48-inch sweep may feel overpowering
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. It is compatible with an optional 18-watt dimmable LED light kit (sold separately) that provides 1,500 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb - suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, it delivers 3000K warm white light - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and natural, ideal for living spaces and covered outdoor areas.
