A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, finished in dark bronze with natural buttonwood blades, for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The Spitfire brings a sleek, three-blade aesthetic to spaces that need both airflow and light. Its dark bronze motor housing pairs with natural buttonwood blades for a warm, organic look that suits coastal, transitional, and contemporary interiors. The included LED light kit provides bright, energy-efficient illumination, and the fan is compatible with smart home systems for convenient control.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp rating protects against humidity and moisture
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need year-round comfort
- Large bedrooms and living rooms, providing airflow up to 5,176 CFM
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, as long as the fan is not directly exposed to water
- Spaces with flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 19°), using the included 4.5-inch downrod
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as the fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 7 feet, unless you use the optional close-to-ceiling mount
- Small spaces under 8x8 feet, where the 48-inch blade sweep may feel overpowering
How bright is it?
The integrated 18-watt LED module produces 1,500 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb. This is sufficient for ambient lighting in a medium-sized room, but not as a primary task light for reading or detailed work.
Light color and feel
The 3000K color temperature emits a warm white light, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate, making it suitable for living spaces and kitchens. The light is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to suit your mood.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 48 inches in diameter and 13.71 inches from ceiling to bottom when installed with the included 4.5-inch downrod. It is designed for rooms with at least 8-foot ceilings, but optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings. The canopy is 7.09 inches in diameter, and the housing is 8.07 inches.
