A 48-inch damp-rated ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for covered outdoor spaces and large indoor rooms.
The Spitfire from Fanimation pairs a sleek three-blade silhouette with a black motor housing and brushed satin brass accents. The black buttonwood blades and the included fresnel and frosted shades give it a modern industrial look that suits patios, sunrooms, and contemporary interiors. With a reversible AC motor and smart home compatibility, it delivers comfort and convenience year-round.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need airflow and warm light
- Large living rooms and great rooms up to 400 sq ft, with ceiling heights of 8 ft or more
- Bedrooms and home offices where a quiet, energy-efficient fan with a dimmable light is useful
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high moisture levels, thanks to the damp rating
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water—this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you prefer a downrod mount; the flush mount keeps it close to the ceiling
- Spaces needing very bright task lighting—the 1500-lumen LED is for ambient light, not focused work
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module outputs 1500 lumens—comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb—making it suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms. It is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Light color and feel
The 3000K color temperature produces a warm white light, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs, that flatters skin tones and wood finishes. With a CRI of 90, colors appear accurate and vibrant, ideal for living spaces and kitchens.
Sizing and fit
This fan has a 48-inch blade sweep and measures 48 inches wide by 11.21 inches high when mounted flush to the ceiling. It fits flat ceilings and is ideal for rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The included canopy and hardware support a clean, low-profile installation.
