A 72-inch smart ceiling fan with an integrated dimmable LED light kit, designed for both indoor living rooms and covered outdoor spaces like patios and pergolas.
The Odyn Custom from Fanimation makes a bold statement with its commanding presence and nine composite blades. The black motor housing pairs with brushed nickel blades for a modern, industrial look. Its DC motor is remarkably quiet and energy-efficient, using up to 70% less energy than traditional fans. The integrated LED light kit offers CCT Select technology, letting you choose from warm white, bright light, or daylight to suit your mood.
Best for
- Covered patios, gazebos, pergolas, and porches where wet-rated durability is essential
- Very large living rooms, great rooms, and open-plan areas needing powerful air circulation up to 9,193 CFM
- Bedrooms and home offices where quiet operation and adjustable light color enhance comfort
- Smart home setups, controllable via the fanSync app or voice assistants
- Spaces with ceilings up to 27° slope, using the included 12-inch downrod
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 12x12 ft, where the 72-inch sweep may be overpowering
- Low ceilings under 8 ft without an optional shorter downrod, as the fan hangs 22.63 inches from the ceiling
- Those preferring a traditional pull-chain control, as this fan uses a handheld remote and smart app
How bright is it?
The integrated 18-watt LED module produces 1600 lumens - comparable to a 100-watt incandescent bulb, providing ample ambient light for most rooms. It's dimmable, so you can lower the light level for a cozy evening atmosphere.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select technology, you can choose from 3000K warm white, 4000K bright white, or 5000K daylight. The warm setting flatters skin tones and wood finishes, while daylight is ideal for tasks. A high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear vibrant and accurate.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 72 inches wide by 22.63 inches high from the ceiling. It's designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 27°) and comes with a 12-inch downrod. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the optimal 7-9 ft hanging height for maximum airflow.
