A 36-inch extension rod from Fanimation's Drone Collection, designed to lower your ceiling fan to the ideal height in rooms with high or sloped ceilings.
This glossy black downrod extends the mounting distance between your ceiling and fan, letting you position the airflow exactly where you need it. The sleek, modern finish complements a range of fan styles, and the damp-rated construction means it can handle the humidity of covered outdoor spaces as well as indoor rooms.
Best for
- Living rooms and great rooms with ceilings higher than 9 ft, where a standard downrod leaves the fan too high for effective airflow
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its damp-location rating
- Bedrooms with vaulted or cathedral ceilings, paired with a compatible Fanimation fan
- Replacing a shorter downrod to improve air circulation and comfort
Not ideal for
- Rooms with standard 8 ft ceilings, where a flush mount or shorter downrod is usually the better fit
- Uncovered outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or moisture
How bright is it?
This is a ceiling fan extension rod, not a light fixture, so it does not produce light.
Light color and feel
Not applicable - this accessory does not emit light.
