A 24-inch ceiling fan downrod in textured black stainless steel, for mounting a fan lower on high or sloped ceilings.
This downrod from Fanimation extends your ceiling fan's drop by 24 inches, allowing you to position the fan at the ideal height for air circulation and comfort. The textured black finish offers a matte, non-reflective look that complements industrial and modern fan designs. The stainless steel construction ensures durability and resistance to corrosion, making it a reliable choice for various environments.
Best for
- Great rooms and two-story entries with ceilings 10 ft or higher, where a standard flush mount would leave the fan too high to be effective
- Bedrooms with tray or vaulted ceilings, to bring the fan down to a comfortable height above the bed
- Covered patios and porches, thanks to its wet-rated construction
- Replacing a shorter downrod when you need extra clearance for tall people or ceiling fans with lights
- Matching other textured black hardware in your fan and lighting scheme
Not ideal for
- Rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings, where a 24-inch downrod would make the fan hang too low
- Ceilings under 7 ft, where the fan blades could pose a safety hazard
Style and finish
The textured black finish provides a matte, contemporary look that pairs well with industrial, farmhouse, and modern decor. The stainless steel construction ensures durability and resistance to rust and corrosion, making it suitable for humid or coastal environments.
Materials and care
Made from stainless steel with a textured black coating. Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the finish.
