A 48-inch ceiling fan downrod in a pewter finish, for mounting a fan on high or sloped ceilings.
This Fanimation downrod extends your ceiling fan's reach, allowing proper placement in rooms with tall ceilings. The pewter finish offers a subtle, warm gray tone that works well with traditional and transitional decor. It's a sturdy, reliable accessory for improving air circulation.
Best for
- Great rooms and two-story foyers with ceilings 10 ft or higher, where a standard downrod won't reach.
- Bedrooms with vaulted or cathedral ceilings, to position the fan for optimal airflow.
- Living rooms with high ceilings, paired with a fan that has a compatible 1-inch diameter downrod mount.
- Indoor spaces with dry conditions, such as living rooms and bedrooms.
Not ideal for
- Rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings, where a flush mount or shorter downrod is more appropriate.
- Fans that require a downrod with a different diameter (e.g., 3/4 inch or 1.25 inch).
- Damp or wet locations, as this downrod is rated for dry locations only.
How bright is it?
This is a fan accessory, not a light fixture, so it does not produce light.
Light color and feel
Not applicable, as this is a non-lighting ceiling fan component.
