A close-to-ceiling kit for Fanimation ceiling fans, designed for low ceilings and rated for wet locations so you can use it indoors or outdoors.
This accessory replaces the hanger bracket and downrod assembly, letting you mount your fan flush against the ceiling to maximize headroom. The Black Wet Rated finish is durable and weather-resistant, making it suitable for covered patios, porches, and other damp or wet areas. Tall and short kits are both included for flexible installation.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and other outdoor living spaces with low ceilings
- Bathrooms and other damp indoor areas where a wet-rated kit is required
- Rooms with low ceilings (under 8 ft) where a standard downrod would hang too low
- Fanimation ceiling fans that use a hanger bracket and downrod assembly
- DIY installers comfortable with basic ceiling fan wiring
Not ideal for
- Fans that require a downrod for proper airflow clearance (check your fan's manual)
- Uncovered outdoor areas directly exposed to rain - this kit is wet rated, but the fan itself must also be wet rated
How bright is it?
This is a mounting accessory, not a light source, so it does not produce light. It is used to mount a ceiling fan that may or may not include a light kit.
Light color and feel
Not applicable - this accessory does not emit light. The finish color is Black, which will coordinate with your fan's finish.

The kit measures 8 inches long by 8 inches wide by 5.5 inches high. It is designed to fit standard Fanimation ceiling fan mounting systems. Always verify compatibility with your specific fan model before purchasing.
