A 48-inch ceiling fan downrod in a driftwood finish, designed to lower your fan to the ideal height in rooms with high or sloped ceilings.
This downrod from Fanimation extends your ceiling fan's reach, ensuring proper air circulation and optimal performance. The driftwood finish complements a variety of fan styles, adding a natural, coastal touch. It's a simple, sturdy solution for achieving the perfect fan height.
Best for
- High ceilings (10 ft or more) where a standard downrod won't bring the fan low enough
- Sloped or angled ceilings, providing the necessary extension for proper mounting
- Large living rooms, great rooms, and two-story foyers with tall ceilings
- Bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, ensuring the fan is at an effective height for cooling
- Replacing a shorter downrod to improve air circulation in a room
Not ideal for
- Rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings, where a longer downrod would make the fan hang too low
- Outdoor installations, as this downrod is not rated for wet locations
Style and finish
The driftwood finish mimics the weathered look of coastal wood, bringing a relaxed, organic feel to your ceiling fan. It pairs well with fans that feature wood tones, natural materials, or a coastal or farmhouse aesthetic.
