A 48-inch ceiling fan downrod in a Mahogany finish, for extending your fan to high or sloped ceilings.
This Fanimation downrod adds 48 inches of drop to your ceiling fan, letting you position it at the ideal height in rooms with tall ceilings. The Mahogany finish brings a rich, warm wood tone that complements traditional and tropical fan styles.
Best for
- High ceilings (10 ft or more) where the fan needs to hang lower for optimal airflow
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings when paired with an angled adapter
- Replacing a shorter downrod to achieve the recommended 8-10 ft clearance from floor to fan blades
- Covered outdoor areas, as it is rated for damp locations
Not ideal for
- Rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings where a flush mount or shorter downrod is needed
- Fans that do not use a 1-inch diameter downrod
Style and finish
The Mahogany finish is a deep, rich brown that evokes classic wood tones. It pairs beautifully with fans that feature wood blades or antique brass details.
