A 36-inch ceiling fan downrod in a driftwood finish, for mounting fans on high or sloped ceilings.
This Fanimation downrod extends your ceiling fan's reach, letting you place it at the ideal height for proper air circulation in rooms with tall ceilings. The driftwood finish brings a natural, coastal-inspired look that pairs well with beachy or rustic decor.
Best for
- Rooms with ceilings 10 ft or higher, where a standard flush mount would leave the fan too high for effective airflow
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings, when paired with an angled ceiling adapter (sold separately)
- Replacing a shorter downrod to lower a fan to the recommended 8-9 ft from the floor
- Covered porches and other damp locations, as this downrod is rated for damp locations
Not ideal for
- Rooms with standard 8 ft ceilings, where a flush mount or shorter downrod is usually better
- Outdoor areas exposed to direct rain, as this is rated for damp, not wet, locations
Sizing and fit
This downrod measures 36 inches in length and 1 inch in diameter. It fits most ceiling fans with a 1-inch downrod mounting system. Check your fan's manual to confirm compatibility.
