A 3-light bowl fitter in bronze accent, designed to add functional lighting to your ceiling fan.
This Fanimation bowl fitter replaces your fan's existing light kit or adds illumination where none exists. The bronze accent finish offers a rich, warm tone that blends well with a variety of decor styles. Its compact 6-inch size fits most standard fans, making it a versatile upgrade.
Best for
- Living rooms and bedrooms with ceiling fans that need additional light
- Replacing an outdated or non-functional fan light kit
- Covered patios or porches (damp-rated for protection against moisture)
- Rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings, as it mounts flush to the fan
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or other areas with direct water exposure - this is rated for damp, not wet locations
- Fans with non-standard or proprietary light kit mounts
- Spaces where you need a primary light source - this is an accent or supplemental light
How bright is it?
With three 50-watt halogen bulbs (not included), this bowl fitter can produce a substantial amount of light, roughly equivalent to 150 watts of incandescent lighting. It's suitable for illuminating a medium-sized room when used as the main light, or for providing bright task lighting in a seating area.
Light color and feel
The light color depends on the bulbs you choose. Halogen bulbs typically emit a bright, white light (around 3000K) that closely resembles natural daylight. This makes colors appear vivid and true, which is great for reading or other activities where accurate color perception is important.
Sizing and fit
This bowl fitter measures 6 inches in diameter and 6 inches in height, with a weight of just 0.87 pounds. It's designed to fit most standard ceiling fans with a compatible mounting bracket. The compact size ensures it won't overwhelm your fan's silhouette.
