An 18-inch downrod in a Rust finish for ceiling fans, designed to lower your fan to the ideal height in rooms with high or sloped ceilings.
This Fanimation downrod extends your ceiling fan's mounting distance, ensuring proper airflow and clearance in taller spaces. The Rust finish adds a warm, earthy tone that complements a variety of fan styles. It's a simple, essential accessory for optimizing fan performance and comfort.
Best for
- Living rooms and great rooms with ceilings 9 ft or higher, where a standard flush mount would leave the fan too high for effective airflow
- Bedrooms with vaulted or cathedral ceilings, helping position the fan at an optimal height for cooling and air circulation
- Replacing a shorter downrod on an existing fan to achieve better air movement and aesthetic balance
- Covered patios and porches with higher ceilings, where the fan needs to be lowered to circulate air effectively
Not ideal for
- Rooms with standard 8 ft ceilings where a flush mount or low-profile adapter is more appropriate
- Outdoor installations fully exposed to rain or moisture, as this downrod is rated for damp locations only
How bright is it?
This is a ceiling fan accessory, not a light fixture, so it does not produce light. It is used to mount a ceiling fan that may include a light kit.
Light color and feel
Not applicable, as this product is a downrod for a ceiling fan and does not emit light.
